Collection Notice

Shown at the point of upload. Consent version upload-v1.

Read this before uploading. This notice explains what TerminationHelp collects when you add documents to your matter workspace, where those documents are stored, how they may be processed, and how to withdraw or request deletion.

What we collect and why

When you upload documents, we collect the files and information you choose to provide about your matter so we can organise evidence, identify information gaps, prepare draft materials and support any referral or filing step that you separately approve.

Where uploads are stored

Uploads are stored in a private, matter-scoped workspace in Supabase in ap-southeast-2, with encryption at rest, row-level access controls and private storage. Approved AI-supported processing may be used for this matter only.

What we do not do

Your documents are not used to train AI models, not reused in another matter, and not shared with an employer, respondent, lawyer, CLC, Legal Aid body, union, FWC or other person unless you approve the specific action or disclosure is required by law.

Retention and deletion

The default retention period for matter content is two years. You can request deletion by contacting support@terminationhelp.com.au; approved deletion requests are placed into the hard-delete process, subject to limited records that must be retained for security, billing, legal, dispute or compliance purposes.

Withdrawing from upload

You can stop using the upload workflow at any time and withdraw from further collection or processing by contacting support. Withdrawal does not automatically undo processing already completed or disclosures you have approved, and legal holds or mandatory records may limit deletion.

Before you upload — mark sensitive documents

Before uploading, review documents for legal advice, settlement or without-prejudice material and mark sensitive documents so they are excluded from processing by default. Uploading privileged material carries a risk a court may later decide privilege has been waived — flag it, or don't upload it, if you are not willing to accept that risk.

How to contact us

Access, correct, or delete your information, and ask how it's handled, at support@terminationhelp.com.au. This notice is version upload-v1; if we materially change what we collect, where it's stored, how long it's kept, who it's shared with, or how it's processed, we will version-up the notice and ask you to acknowledge again where appropriate.

Ad measurement

Separately from your uploads: if you arrived via a Google ad, we send Google a single measurement signal when you complete payment — your Stripe payment reference, the amount paid in AUD, and the currency — and no name, email or matter details. You can turn it off at any time on the Ad measurement page.
